''Ectoedemia hypericella'' is a moth of the Nepticulidae family. It was described by Braun in 1925. It is known from North America (including Ohio). The wingspan is 4-4.8 mm. The larvae feed on ''Hypericum prolificum''. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine consists of a very long, slender tract on the upper surface. The frass is deposited centrally as a continuous line in the early portion but is more generally scattered later. ==References==
